Computerized water testing is available at Town and Country Pools! This report provides a detailed measure of each chemical necessary to balance your water. Each test costs $2.00, this cost pays for the disposable reagent viles that we use to test each sample in.
Water tests should be done 2-3 days after opening and within a week of closing the pool. Water should also be tested once a month during the season. Test strips are meant to be used as a quick check between these detailed water analyses. If you aren’t keeping up with computerized water testing, you need a more accurate test to do at home such as using a Taylor test kit.
TIP: Water should be tested at least monthly for overall balance using the computer analysis. Strips should be used multiple times a week for basic balance. Water balance is important to maintain the condition of liners, equipment, etc., as well as the health of swimmers.
